Despite having zero renovation or building experience, Eliza and Liberty are poised to dive headfirst into the challenge, channelling their determination and zest for life into every project. Eliza, a seasoned personal assistant and mental health advocate, exudes a fantastic attitude and a willingness to give things a "red-hot crack." Liberty, a dedicated producer with a love for routine and a remarkable fitness journey, embodies a spirit of unwavering commitment. As Liberty acknowledges, "Even though we are massively different, we have massively worked well together in the past. It'll be the same on The Block." With their infectious positivity, unique talents, and unbreakable sisterly bond, Eliza and Liberty are set to inject vibrant energy and a whole lot of fun into The Block 2023.

WEEK 2:
STUDIO BATHROOM
Despite a challenging start, the girls' bathroom earns high praise from Shaynna, who deems it 'divine'. The judges commend their daring selection of floor and wall tiles, but Shaynna raises concerns over the mixed metals. Critiques follow for the elevated shower and toilet flush placement, as well as the outdated light fitting. On the positive side, their underfloor heating and exquisite ceiling design receive acclaim, alongside a well-thought-out layout and practical functionality.

WEEK 4:
BATHROOM / POWDER ROOM
This is the moment the girls have been anticipating - the grand reveal of their moss wall.
The burning question is whether the judges will embrace it or despise it. Well, in Marty's case, he unequivocally dislikes it.
"I have scoured through thousands of properties for sale, and I have never once encountered anything remotely like what I'm witnessing right now," Marty declares, and his sentiment isn't meant as a compliment.
He's somewhat puzzled by it, suggesting it might resemble a soup garnish.
Shaynna, on the other hand, finds fault not only with the moss wall but also with the lighting design, the vanity height, and the color palette.

WEEK 7:
KITCHEN & LAUNDRY
During their last week with the builders, Eliza and Liberty invested $23,669 in cash to create their striking kitchen. The judges are utterly enamored with the expansive island bench, appreciating its singular purpose as a spacious and inviting gathering spot. They also commend the functionality of the space, noting that everything is conveniently situated. The kitchen is deemed a perfect culmination of their week's efforts. In the laundry, the girls receive praise for the practical layout and exquisite linen cupboard, earning a cheerful "Go girls!" from Shaynna.

WEEK 8:
MASTER ENSUITE
The girls dedicated a total of $29,662 to their ensuite, a cost that Marty considers well worth it as he deems it "spectacular." And the judges are captivated by the floor plan and the choice of tiles, and they express that the space feels exceptionally 'resolved.'

WEEK 10:
UPSTAIRS BATHROOM
The sisters allocated $28,665 for renovating their studio space and completing their final bathroom. The judges express their relief upon witnessing the significant improvements made in the studio and admire how the art TV is seamlessly integrated with the statement wallpaper. They give a thumbs up to all of their design choices, but they are somewhat perplexed by the room's layout. They suggest reorienting the elements to create a more open space, leading out to the backyard for a perfect poolside cabana ambience.

WEEK 11:
BACKYARD, POOL & SPA
The girls invested $55,893 in their backyard and are self-assured that it meets all the requirements. Notably, they've also acquired the coveted daybed from Camerich. However, Dave and Marty waste no time in expressing their criticism of the concrete the girls have chosen as a form of decking, with Dave remarking, "There's a lot of it."
