It’s the burning question at the top of the list of any serious renovator; What type of flooring should I use throughout my home?
Hybrid flooring is a type of floating floorboard that combines the best features of laminate flooring, vinyl flooring and tiles within the layers that make up the hybrid flooring. Beaumonts have an exclusive range of hybrid floor planks and hybrid floor tiles in two different materials, Isocore and SPcore, to choose from. Additionally, you can explore our diverse collection of hybrid flooring colours and looks. One of our most popular colours is grey hybrid flooring. There is also a chance to elevate your space with stone look hybrid flooring or spotted gum hybrid flooring.
The best way to choose your hybrid flooring is to visit us in-store. We would love to take you through all the options and compare the pros and cons with tiles. So let’s find your perfect flooring together.
Beaumonts sells nothing but top-quality Hybrid floating floors. A type of hard flooring unlike other floating floors, they are water resistant, so no more mopping mishaps or freaking out over water spills. Feature a look from our oak hybrid flooring or blackbutt hybrid flooring range for outstanding performance in high-touch areas of your home.
They are a brilliant solution for homes with kids and pets. The wear layer is an excellent 0.55mm; they are up for the challenge to stand the test of time. They are so good; they come with a lifetime residential warranty!
Choosing a flooring material isn’t a simple decision to make as there are many factors that will appeal to each type of flooring. It really comes down to your highest priorities; comfort, acoustics, long-term durability, water resistance, or a personal style preference.
The hands-down winner comparison of Hybrid flooring next to Tiles is all in the installation. It has lower installation costs, and the whole process is quicker.
With a solid timber floor, when it comes to spills and moisture, timber is much more likely to buckle, and should never be installed in wet areas like a kitchen or laundry. Hybrid flooring on the other hand has been designed to withstand the moisture from a laundry or kitchen.
Hybrid is a solid contender on everyone’s flooring list, with its ease of cleaning, scratch resistance, and technology to protect against bacteria. But I think the best one that is hard to beat is the Lifetime residential warranty to give you the peace of mind that you have made the right choice.

This is a difficult one to answer as there are quite a few layers to Hybrid floating floorboards. Beaumonts specialises in 2 types of Hybrid, each with its own combination of layers; SP Core, and Isocore.
SP core: Multi-layer protective coating which includes a SE+ anti-bacterial finish, a Decorative layer with structure, a stone-based polymer core that is water resistant, the tight lock click system layer, and a sound-absorbing pad.
Isocore: The top layer is a surface protectant using FX3 technology infused with Ultra-Fresh treatment against mould and mildew. Then comes the vinyl layer for wear and tear. The decorative film is next with vinyl for durability. Isocore technology that is highly engineered is the central material. Finally, the click locking layer, then the sound mitigating underlay and another Ultra-Fresh treatment.
