After moving into their new house along with their two bubbas, Jo and her husband decided to make some cosmetic updates to make the house into their own family home. With her bathroom tiles literally starting to peel off the walls, Keira’s tired old family bathroom was in desperate need of a do-over.
Keira patched up what she could, but finding the time for a full bathroom renovation was not easy as a busy young mum to two boys.
A leaking pipe that damaged the bathroom walls and her linen closet and everything in it was very nearly the last straw. Instead, Keira found the opportunity in the insurance claim from the damage to finally fix up the bathroom on a budget.
