Tiles for the Perfect Coastal Bathroom Aesthetic
Your home is your sanctuary, which is exactly what Dune Drifter Interiors has created at Long Jetty. The goal was to cultivate a grounded, earthy atmosphere throughout each space within the home, utilising neutral tones, soft shapes, and subtle textures.
To achieve this, Bec chose OmniStone Beige, a tile bold through its texture that was installed on the floors and walls to create a seamless foundation for the bathroom.
This tile perfectly pairs with the warm VJ wall panelling while providing a luxurious base to complement the Clay Terra feature wall tiles. Influenced by styles from Morocco, the Clay Terra tile was chosen for its organic, rustic aesthetic, which helps to achieve that earthy, grounded goal.
Floor & Wall: OmniStone Beige Microtec Textured Tile 600x1200
“I chose Beaumont Tiles for their wide range of products. I find their tile selection super stylish as they are always keeping up with current trends as well as having a wide variety of the classics. I also loved the fact that I could pop down the road and view the products I’d seen online, making sure all my selections worked together.” - Bec | Dune Drifter Interiors
Choose Bathroomware that Elevates Your Style!
Beyond the tiles, a series of fixtures were chosen for their specific details to complete the stunning bathroom.
The Koko Free Standing Bath was selected to help soften the space with its smooth edges. The Fienza Empire Pill Shaped Framed Mirror was also installed for its curved shape, which complements the bath while adding interest through its brass frame.
Bec chose a wall-hung timber vanity to optimise space while adding further interest through its woodgrain finish. The vanity stands out against the tiles but it doesn’t take away from the space but rather adds to the overall organic atmosphere curated by Dune Drifter Interiors.
Design Tip: For a smaller bathroom, choose a wall-hung vanity like the Nevada Vanity to create an uninterrupted floor line. Pair it with vertically laid feature tiles to enhance the sense of space.
Bring your vision to life!
Achieving this kind of cohesion throughout a bathroom, or an entire home, like Long Jetty, requires a vision and a lot of planning to bring it to life.
Bec was able to find the perfect tiles and bathroomware from Beaumont Tiles and place them on her mood board using Style Sourcebook with complementing finishes to be able to bring her vision to life!
