Meet Hannah and Jonny, a young Queensland couple with big dreams for their growing family. They found their perfect home in the heart of Brisbane's Coorparoo neighborhood – a charming but tired 1950s weatherboard. They poured their love (and DIY skills!) into renovations, but the arrival of their twins, Goldie and Theodore, changed everything. Their once-spacious home suddenly felt cramped, and with the twins on the move, more space was a necessity. Determined to create a dream home for their little ones, Hannah, a digital marketer, and Jonny, a DJ and event emcee, are taking a big leap of faith. They've joined the design competition show Dream Home, sacrificing precious time with their babies for a chance to win the ultimate family haven.

TAELER & ELLE
BATHROOM, POWDER ROOM & DINING
Taeler and Elle opted for a luxurious and timeless look for Hannah and Jonny's Coorparoo bathroom in cycle 1. They incorporated a variety of Beaumont Tiles products to achieve this vision. For the floor, they used the stunning Travertine Almond Milk Honed Filled, creating a beautiful, textured base with a touch of natural elegance and the Eternal Beige Silk Tile added a classic, soft touch with its rippled surface. The walls were a combination of two complementary options:, while Fire Fingers Sage Gloss Mosaic tiles added a pop of colour and visual interest with their unique splintered design – available in both Linen and Sage to create a cohesive look. This combination provided both warmth and personality, perfectly suited for a family bathroom.
To complement the luxurious feel of the bathroom, Taeler and Elle extended the design theme to the dining area. They used the Ignite White Gloss Mosaic Tile on the fireplace, creating a stunning focal point with its textured, light-reflecting surface. This choice added a touch of rustic elegance and perfectly balanced the room's overall ambiance. In the powder room, they opted for a timeless and sophisticated look by utilising Channelle Travertine Natural Embossed Honed Mosaic on the walls. The natural warmth and subtle texture of this mosaic tile elevated the space, while its classic beauty ensured the design would remain relevant for years to come.

KITCHEN
In their design for Hannah and Jonny's kitchen, Peter and Lara aimed for a unique and visually striking aesthetic. To achieve this, they made the Safi Pink Structured Gloss Tile the centerpiece. This eye-catching Beaumont Tiles product was used on the kitchen island, creating a bold statement piece. The subtle variations in the tile's surface, reminiscent of handcrafted tiles, added a touch of artisan charm and character. This same pink tile extended to the air extractor and pantry splashback, creating a cohesive and visually unified space. The overall effect was a kitchen that was both functional and undeniably stylish.

LAUNDRY
Rhys and Liam brought a touch of the unexpected to Hannah and Jonny's laundry room. While their original splashback design used a discontinued Beaumont Tiles product, you can achieve a similar look with the stunning Imagination Wave Shell Embossed Satin tile. This innovative tile features soft, undulating curves that mimic ocean waves, adding a unique visual texture and a touch of whimsical flair to the space. Available in four different tones, it allows for customisation and complements the functionality of the laundry room perfectly.

BATHROOM
Rhys & Liam brought a touch of timeless elegance to Hannah and Jonny's Coorparoo bathroom. The archway leading into the shower area was adorned with the charming Mod Penny Round White Gloss Mosaic Tiles. These penny-round tiles, reimagined in modern glazed porcelain, added a touch of vintage character and visual interest. Stepping through the archway, the shower experience was transformed with Marmette Bianco Matt Tile. This stunning porcelain tile mimicked the look of terrazzo with its flecks of exposed marble chips, while the polished finish and rectified edges created a sleek, contemporary feel. The combination of these Beaumont Tiles products resulted in a bathroom that was both beautiful and functional.

ENSUITE
In the ensuite for cycle 2, Peter and Lara aimed for a luxurious and modern haven. They used the striking Mod White Matt Mosaic Tile for the vanity splashback arch, creating a geometric statement piece that perfectly complemented the clean lines of the design. The rest of the space, both walls and floors, were adorned with the Pompeii Travertine Avorio HiLite Silk Tile by Beaumont Tiles. This sophisticated porcelain tile offered the timeless beauty of travertine with a touch of modern flair. The smooth silk finish and subtle veining created a feeling of warmth and elegance, perfect for a relaxing ensuite retreat.
