Albert Park Series 2019
Design Duo Alisa & Lysandra Fraser first came to the attention of the Australian public through their win on The Block in 2013 and being crowned queens of the bathrooms, choosing Beaumonts all the way to create unbeatable bathrooms. Following on from this, they founded Alisa & Lysandra Interiors in 2014, working on bespoke residential and commercial projects, and collaborating with high profile brands. In 2018 the twins produced their very first online series, The Design Duo, based on their multi-million dollar renovation in Albert Park which we were proud to be involved with.

The Design Duo Series- Episode 1 showcases the Ensuite and Pool Area. Their choice of tiles for the ensuite and the pool tiles could not be more different, yet they work together so harmoniously. While the ensuite is decked out in a (very much on-trend) terrazzo tile in a truly massive 2400x800mm slab tile size, the pool features a classic light blue mosaic tile.

The Design Duo continues to impress with the reveals of their kitchen, living room and outdoor courtyard in this episode of Alisa & Lysandra Albert Park Renovation.
The renovation of their courtyard struck a perfect balance, with lawn and bluestone outdoor tiles complementing each other well. The pair's tile of choice is a 600x600mm Basalt Blue Moon Sawn arranged into a clever pattern.

Not even the laundry - the functional workhorse of the home - is immune from Alisa and Lysandra's magical, luxury transformation touch. The sisters design a laundry room that's almost as much a retreat as it is a workspace.
Pairing dark and light tones in their signature high-end, creative way, Alisa and Lysandra create a contrast that's strong without any of the starkness a pure black and white palette would bring to this type of space.
In a clever inversion of a traditional wet area colour and texture pairing, the twins have placed a polished white marble-look finish for a feature and opted for a dark mosaic floor tile.
