Our Beaumont Tiles store in Mitchell recently received these pictures from a customer who chose Astilla Oak wood look tiles to floor their entire house - and we were floored too!
Astilla Oak is inspired by the raw oak used in packing crates and pallets, and fits recent trends in upcycling and giving new life and uses to old, interesting, and unlikely materials.
The use of oak timber look tiles is also perfect for the huge resurgence in Danish Modern design we're seeing at the moment. It's a perfect fit for the colour palette, and pairs beautifully with any Danish furniture or feature pieces.
The range also features Astilla Oak Litho, which takes the concept one step further by incorporating packaging messages and street art, such as "handle with care," "fragile," and graffiti tags.
The tiles come in 78 different faces to replicate the variation found in natural timber, and come in a plank-like size to complete the look.
